TARDIS spotted on last week's Sherlock?
So was it really the TARDIS or is there another explanation?
This is what Stephen Moffatt had to say via Twitter:
Sue says that isn't the TARDIS, it was a lighting thing. But by my cuff links, what ELSE could it be???
Hee!
Personally, I'd like to believe it really was the TARDIS. *nods solemnly*
I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see a meeting between Sherlock and Eleven!
How wonderfully squeeworthy would that be? :D

2012: Day 7
Jan. 7th, 2012 11:52 pmAlmost forgot to post today, but just about made it in time. :)
Just catching up on S1 of "Mrs Brown's Boys" which arrived on DVD today. This show is so funny! :D Caught it for the first time over Christmas and found it hilarious. Can't believe I'd never seen it before! :)
Well, that's pretty much a post about nothing, isn't it? *g*
Hope you're all well. :)

I'm trying to take my mind off a RL drama that's unfolding right now, so thought I might as well post about a few things that have been going on fandom wise recently.
Firstly - I've managed to get an account on Pottermore! Yay! I've never really been active in the HP fandom, but I'm a huge fan of the books and the movies, so there was no way I was going to miss out on a chance to gain early access to this. And if I find it isn't for me? Well, my daughter will get a huge kick out of it, so yay all round! :D
Secondly - I have to admit that my heart sank when I heard that Seasonal Spuffy was moving to DW, but that was mainly because I knew how upset some of the Spuffy fandom on LJ were going to be (and I understand that, I really do). But there's no way the move will make me abandon one of the best Spuffy communities around, so I'm planning on adding the RSS feed to my LJ flist (as there's no way I'll remember to check DW every day!) and reading the contributions as I always do. :)
Thirdly - I refuse to be made to abandon LJ because of the DDoS attacks. I have accounts on DW and Google+ as well as LJ (and am loving them all), but my homebase is still LJ. But that doesn't mean that I won't be posting elsewhere - all it means is that I won't be leaving LJ. I think there's room enough for them all. :)
Fourthly - I've been watching a fair bit of TV lately, but that can be shared in a post all of its own. Just one question: I know of at least one person on my flist who watches it, but has anyone else been watching The Hour on the BBC? Dominic West from The Wire is in it - and I love it! I eagerly await each new episode every week. It's just a pity there are only six episodes.
And that's it for now. :)

Doctor Who
Jun. 5th, 2011 06:51 pmWhat a fabulous episode to go into the hiatus with. I loved it!
And now we have to wait until the autumn to see what happens next. :(
I'm not going to say roll on the autumn, as I'm quite looking forward to the summer, but it's going to seem like a hell of a long time to wait!
But at least those of us who enjoy them will have S4 of True Blood and new Torchwood to see us through, so maybe the wait won't be quite so bad after all? :)
And I'm looking forward to Case Histories, which begins airing on BBC1 in ten minutes. It's based on Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie series of books, which I love. I so hope it's good. I can't wait!

True Blood
Aug. 17th, 2009 03:06 pmHow good was True Blood last night? I didn't think ep 8 could be beaten, but this was soooo good!
( True Blood - S2 ep9 (spoilers) )
I can't believe there are only 3 episodes of S2 left already!

Insane Journal...and Fandoms Colliding!
Jun. 22nd, 2007 12:49 amMy Insane Journal
I definitely like it more than Greatest Journal. LJ is still going to be my main journal, but I think I'm going to use IJ as somewhere to escape to when I need to. It has a very similar style to here...and there are already lots of familiar names over there! :)
( When Fandoms Collide (cut for Heroes S1, Doctor Who S3 and Torchwood S2 spoilers) )

Happy 10th Anniversary to BtVS!!
Mar. 10th, 2007 04:28 pmI'm insanely busy today, but I couldn't let the day go by without marking it in some way.
I've seen this done by others on my flist, so I'm going to have a go at it myself.
TEN REASONS WHY I LOVE BUFFY THE VAMPIRE SLAYER:
( Ten reasons... )
Of course, there are many other reasons why I love BtVS. Joyce, all of S6, FFL, Punk Spike...the list could go on and on.
One of the main reasons to be grateful for BtVS, though, is that it brought me to all of you. Without it, I would never have been part of a fandom that has given me so much. So for that I am eternally grateful. Thank you!
*raises glass to fandom*

TV query...and Torchwood
Jan. 3rd, 2007 05:12 pmDoes anyone on my flist have any idea when the next new episode of Heroes will be shown in the US? I've fallen in love with this show and I'm missing my fix. :)
And also...( Spoilers for the final two episodes of Torchwood...and possibly for S3 of Doctor Who )

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Oct. 22nd, 2006 10:43 pmFavourite episodes part two. Part one is here
( Season Five )
( Season Six )
( Season Seven )
That was harder than I thought it was going to be, but I had fun doing it! :)
As I said in my first post, this is by no means a definitive list. My favourite episodes do have a tendency to change, as do my favourite seasons. At the moment S7 is edging out S6, with S5 close behind. I guess I really am a late season girl! :D

Oct. 22nd, 2006 07:35 pmInspired by
molly_may's post, I decided to list my own favourite episodes season by season. :)
( Season One )
( Season Two )
( Season Three )
( Season Four )
This is by no means a definitive list. My favourite episodes (especially in the later seasons) have a tendency to change. :)

Avoiding Supernatural
Oct. 7th, 2006 12:37 pmI have episode 2 of S2 downloaded on my laptop, but I'm avoiding watching it. Why, you might ask? Well...( spoilers for ep2, S2 of Supernatural )
How ridiculous is that?

Buffy the Vampire Slayer
Jul. 3rd, 2006 09:49 amMy love of the Buffyverse appears to be stronger than ever lately. RL has been difficult, so what do I do? Turn to BtVS again, of course! Buffy the Vampire Slayer helped me through some tough times when it was first aired, and it continues to do so today.
Even though I have the DVDs, I've been rewatching the show on Sky over the last few weeks. Spike and Spuffy have constantly been in my thoughts lately (well, even more than usual) and I've been thinking about which season is my faourite...and which one is my least favourite. Bear in mind that I'm a little bit (just a little *g*) biased towards Spike and Spuffy. Although I must point out that I loved many different characters and pairings while I was watching the show for the first time.
( More thoughts...and a list! )
I think I'm going to do a favourite quote post next. And then my favourite episodes. And then my favourite AtS season. And then... ;)

I was very disappointed in the Green Wing finale. That's about all I've got to say about that. *sigh*
