TARDIS spotted on last week's Sherlock?

So was it really the TARDIS or is there another explanation?

This is what Stephen Moffatt had to say via Twitter:

Sue says that isn't the TARDIS, it was a lighting thing. But by my cuff links, what ELSE could it be???

Hee!

Personally, I'd like to believe it really was the TARDIS. *nods solemnly*

I don't know about anyone else, but I would love to see a meeting between Sherlock and Eleven!

How wonderfully squeeworthy would that be? :D

What a fabulous episode to go into the hiatus with. I loved it!

And now we have to wait until the autumn to see what happens next. :(

I'm not going to say roll on the autumn, as I'm quite looking forward to the summer, but it's going to seem like a hell of a long time to wait!

But at least those of us who enjoy them will have S4 of True Blood and new Torchwood to see us through, so maybe the wait won't be quite so bad after all? :)

And I'm looking forward to Case Histories, which begins airing on BBC1 in ten minutes. It's based on Kate Atkinson's Jackson Brodie series of books, which I love. I so hope it's good. I can't wait!

I was a bit meh about part one of this story, but this week?

I loved it!

Is it next Saturday yet?

:D

I rewatched The Doctor's Wife and loved it even more the second time. I also watched Doctor Who Confidential, and there is only one word I can use to describe it - magical. *happy sigh*

In fact, I think it may have made me fall in love with Neil Gaiman just a little bit. Hearing him read from the script was pure perfection, and it made me love the episode even more than I already did - which I didn't think could even be possible!

Fantastic stuff, and possibly my favourite episode of New Who so far.

I will most definitely be watching both the episode and the Confidential over and over again. Pure magic! :)

Wow, that was some episode of Doctor Who, wasn't it? I was worried it wouldn't be able to live up to the hype, but I should have known Neil Gaiman wouldn't let me down! I watched it late last night while under the influence of a few glasses of wine (I'd been to my brother-in-law's 40th birthday party), so will need to rewatch it later to make sure I didn't miss anything important, but first impressions? Fabulous!

I'm still all *flaily* about Matt Smith, because I thought he was even more outstanding in this episode. He really *is* the Doctor, isn't he? He impresses me more and more every week. :)

Roll on next Saturday!

Finally got to see this week's Doctor Who.

Well, that was an enjoyable romp, wasn't it? Read more... )

And now on to The Game of Thrones...

My love for Tyrion knows no bounds. Read more... )

Hmm, I seem to have found more to say about the episode than I thought I would.

Roll on next week!

Okay, I'm officially in love with this season. I loved every second of that!

Roll on next week! :)

Wishing a very Happy Easter to anyone who celebrates it! I hope you're all having a lovely day with your friends and family. :)

*hugs to you all*

And wasn't last night's Doctor Who wonderful? I loved every second of it! Matt Smith has completely won me over as Eleven - and I absolutely adore Rory! And I have to admit to being rather fond of Amy and River too. ;)

Tom Baker posts his tribute here.

Children post their reaction to Elisabeth's death here.

Heartbreaking. :(

And from David Tennant:

“I just can’t believe that Lis is gone. She seemed invincible. The same woman who enchanted my childhood, enchanted my time on Doctor Who and enchanted generations who have watched her and fallen in love with her – just like I did. I feel very honoured to have shared a TARDIS with Sarah Jane Smith, and I feel very lucky to have shared some time with Lis Sladen. She was extraordinary.”

Like David, Tom Baker and Elisabeth Sladen were the Doctor and Companion I grew up with. Many have been and gone since then, but Four and Sarah Jane Smith will always hold a special place in my heart. In some ways they were my very first OTP, and I will never ever forget the important part they played in my childhood.

Thanks for the memories, Sarah Jane. I'll miss you.

So sad to hear the news that Elisabeth Sladen has passed away. :(

I grew up watching Elisabeth, and she was very much a part of my childhood. Sarah Jane was and always will be my favourite companion on Doctor Who.

RIP Elisabeth. You will be missed by people all over the world.

Day 13 - Favorite childhood show

There is only one show I could pick for this, and it's the show that had me hiding behind the sofa from when I was a small child. Yes, you've guessed it, it's:

Classic Doctor Who

I have to say I loved it! Were there plot holes? Of course there were! But right now all I'm concentrating on is the emotional impact of it...

And it worked for me.

Goodbye Ten. I'll miss you. *sniffles*

Now on to the next era...

I'm loving this season of Doctor Who. Turn Left was fabulous!

I'm liking Catherine Tate's Donna so much more than I thought I would.

And Bernard Cribbins is wonderful!

As for next week...

If you're a fan of both BtVS and Doctor Who, you'll LOVE this. Possible spoilers for S3 of Doctor Who.

What are you waiting for? :D

My Insane Journal

I definitely like it more than Greatest Journal. LJ is still going to be my main journal, but I think I'm going to use IJ as somewhere to escape to when I need to. It has a very similar style to here...and there are already lots of familiar names over there! :)

Does anyone on my flist have any idea when the next new episode of Heroes will be shown in the US? I've fallen in love with this show and I'm missing my fix. :)

And also...Spoilers for the final two episodes of Torchwood...and possibly for S3 of Doctor Who )
caliente_uk: (rose by egeria_uk)
I've been out tonight, so I've only just seen the finale.
