Books - Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger

I finished reading Her Fearful Symmetry by Audrey Niffenegger last night.

I loved The Time Traveler's Wife, and was hoping to feel the same way about this one. However, the only word that comes to mind after reading it is 'disturbing'.

Has anyone else on my flist read it? Any thoughts? Love it? Hate it? Did you find it as disturbing as I did?

I'd actually go as far as to say that I really wish I hadn't read it. :(

I'm about halfway through it right now, and to be honest I've thinking of giving it up, and now I think you've just about convinced me to do so! There are so many books in my to-be-read pile that I hate wasting time on one that I feel like I'm not going to enjoy in the end.
