So, Noel Clarke has confirmed that tomorrow night will be Mickey's last appearance in S2. I can't say I'm surprised, as I'd heard rumours that he would be leaving soon. But I have to say I'll be sorry to see him go. I've liked Mickey since the start and had really grown to love him this season. Noel didn't give much away about how Mickey would be leaving, but he did say that it would be a tearjerker. Gulp.

Noel also talked a little bit about Torchwood. He's written what he thinks is going to be episode four of the show. Such a talented young man! He said that Torchwood is going to be very cool and will be an investigative show, with a similar feel to The X Files and CSI. It sounds like it's going to be interesting. I'll have to see about checking it out. :)

Oh, who am I kidding. It's got Captain Jack in it...of course I'll be checking it out! I can't wait. *g*

See everyone else was reading it as an exit episode, but I was thinking intro. Because it is making him look cool. And setting up a bunch of meta ways they need him around, like to be truth guy, and because getting rid of him now would be like siding with the cybermen, calling him spare parts. But now he is going? Annoyance. I shall sulk.

I shall sulk with you, be. Maybe he will come back in S3? *crosses fingers*

:Gloom:

Had guessed this would happen. Dunno if I'll feel much like watching any more without Mickey.

I know! I'll still watch because I love the show, but Mickey is going to be missed. They'll need to fill the space he leaves, I would have thought. As much as I like The Doctor/Rose, I think they work better when someone else is involved - like they did with Captain Jack in S1.

I agree completely. I don't even like Rose that much, unfortunately.

I'll be sorry to see Mickey go, too. Have to wait and see if it's a permanent goodbye or whether he might pop up again in future series (or even in Torchwood).

Torchwood went into production earlier this month and they've already got six scripts sorted (Noel's must be one of these).

It's got Captain Jack in it...of course I'll be checking it out!

Well duh!! And thanks to [livejournal.com profile] the_royal_anna I spent a very enjoyable half hour earlier today watching JB reading the bedtime stories on Cbeebies, as well as some of his This Morning appearances. Don't you just love Youtube.

I'm hoping we'll see him again at some point.

I'm really looking forward to Torchwood! It's going to be so good to see Captain Jack again. :D

Youtube is wonderful!
