Finally caught up on LJ. I've read as much as I can and have left several comments, but I'm sure I've missed posts along the way. If you've posted something important, please don't think that I'm ignoring you! RL just gets in the way sometimes. :)

I've read hardly *any* fic at all over the last few days. I've got so much to catch up on, including eurydice72's new WIP (which I'm *very* excited about) and two fics from the lovely pfeifferpack: her seasonal_spuffy entry (which is complete) and her new WIP which (from what I've been hearing) is outstanding! And that's just some of the wonderful fic I need to catch up on. Yay for new fic! :D

Now it's almost time for Doctor Who, so I'm off to watch not only David Tennant as the new Doctor, but also our very own ASH! Squeeee! :D

My FiL is doing much better. He's still got a long way to go, but he seems to be recovering slowly. As you know by my latest post, RL is still biting hard. *sigh*

Dude. ASH!! I mean, I had heard that he was gonna be on DW, but dude!! SO jealous of you right now. Note to self: figure out how to get bootleg copies of eps as they air in the UK. Your (albeit unintentional) teasing is killing me! Sitting down now to watch Father's Day. Nyah. ;)

Father's Day is one of my favourite eps from S1! You've got so many wonderful episodes still to come. :)

Oh. My. God. Just finished watching Father's Day, and you weren't kidding--I'm literally in tears. I thought I knew why y'all were so crazy about this show, but I had no idea... (And I'm kinda in love with CE.)

Thanks for the heads-up on DWE--I'll have to check it out! Right after I go buy S1 on DVD--I can't stand waiting for the rest to air anymore.

Quick question--a little while ago, I saw an icon in your "randomness" box with Fine saying "Don't mess with me, I used to be Spike", but can't find it in your Userpics. Where might I find that icon? I must have it. :D

I know I'm late replying to this...but I knew you would love Father's Day! :) How are you enjoying the latest eps that have been aired in the US? I already loved Doctor Who, but Father's Day turned me into an avid watcher of the show. However, Empty Child/The Doctor Dances are the two episodes that really got me hooked. And Captain Jack! *g*

1. No worries at all about the lateness—I know you’ve got more than I can ever imagine on your plate, and it’s always fun discussing our mutual obsessions over any time span you can manage.

2. Dude, I just finished watching Empty Child/Doctor Dances the other day (I’d DVRed them from earlier, when I was running around in Memphis). And those eps were totally awesome—I kept thinking “who is the genius who comes up with such original plots?” And the dancing!! Was giggling the whole time (reminds me of how I would laugh and laugh when Data did similar stuff). As you said, if I wasn’t hooked by Father’s Day (which I was), I definitely am now. And Captain Jack is teh!sex. :D

I’m horribly behind myself on reading LJ (in the middle of moving/post-finals/crazy-busy research season), but it’s good to see your RL’s let up to the point where you can do some catching up online—I’ll be checking out any updates you’ve posted as soon as I get a chance. Huggles in the meantime!
