I'm so glad that while things are perfect with your father-in-law, you have more reason to be optimistic now. I hope he will be able to have the stent put in and avoid heart bypass surgery. I know how hard it is to see a loved one struggle with something like this, and you feel helpless. Your support for both your father-in-law and Paul does more than you know.

You and your family are often in my thoughts--I hope for the best for your father in law. I've been through similar heart issues with my grandpa and know how excrutiating all the "waiting to fix it" can be. Hang in there!
