American Idol Request

It doesn't air until Friday night over in the UK, so could any of my Flist who watch it PLEASE put the result under a cut if they need to talk about it. It's one of the only shows that K and I watch together. She likes to discuss the performances with me and who I think is likely to go (the things we do for our kids! *g*), so it's not quite the same if I already know the result before it airs. I've been spoiled the last two weeks, so I'd really appreciate it if you could do this for me. Thank you! :D

I know I've been fairly quiet on LJ over the last few days, but I'm still around, leaving comments here and there. I just don't seem to have much to say at the moment, but I'm sure that will change. :)

Only just over a week until new Doctor Who! I can't wait. I think David Tennant is going to be amazing in this role, if TCI is anything to go by. Plus he's soo sexy, which can only be a good thing! *g*

This last thing will mean absolutely nothing to most of you, but I bought tickets to see Marti Pellow at Birmingham's Symphony Hall in November. Squee! For those of you that don't know, Marti is the front man for Scottish group Wet Wet Wet, and I've been a fan of his for over twenty years. I've lost count of the amount of times I've seen Marti/The Wets in concert, but there was no way I was going to pass up the opportunity to see him again! I even gave up the chance to see Billy Joel at the NEC because I couldn't afford to buy both this month. THAT'S how much I love seeing this guy perform live. I'm so excited! All I need now is for JM to announce something in the UK (only not until I have the spare cash...and NOT on the same day as Marti! Greedy? Me? You bet! *g*) and my life will be complete. Well, not quite complete, but pretty close anyway! ;D

Hmm...I guess I did have something to say after all. Heh.

Oh...one more thing. When does VM start airing on a Tuesday? It's getting to be so good at the moment, I don't want to risk missing it. :)

Just so you know, VM starts airing on Tuesday next week. This week, it's still on Wednesday. Not that I'll be able to watch it until Saturday, but oh well. *g*

Doctor Who!!! *takes deep breaths* Just have to remember to actually watch it now *kicks brain*

and Marti Pellow ... *hmmm* ... well, I can see the attraction *g* - are you going with friends/family? The most exciting thing I've got planned is seeing Radiohead later this with the boyf and his brother in Edinburgh ... at least I think it's Radiohead ... I really need to start listening to them on of these days *g*

I was just looking through some of my old posts and noticed that I hadn't answered this. Better late than never! *g* In answer to the question you asked me more than two months ago, I'm going to see Marti Pellow with my sister. We've always gone to WWW/Marti concerts together. It gives us a chance to let our hair down without our husbands getting in the way! :D
