I watched the mini-series last night. I have to say, I'm hooked already. BSG is exactly the type of show I love. I found it very easy to remember who all the different characters were. I love Starbuck and Apollo. Baltar is played by an actor I'm very familiar with, so I found it quite difficult to get used to him in the role at first. But once I got over that, I found him fascinating to watch. I'll be very interested in seeing where they take his character from here. The acting by everyone was of a very high standard, I thought.

There were lots of twists and turns throughout the mini-series. It kept me interested from start to finish and made me jump more than once! I was very surprised by the ending. I never expected that at all. Great stuff! :)

I had no idea what to expect from BSG, as I'd never seen even one minute of the show before. I have to say, I loved it from the outset. I find the Cylons fascinating, the acting outstanding and the characters very believable.

I have no idea where the series is going to take us from here, but I'm looking forward to finding out. I'm going to start watching Season 1 very soon.

BSG isn't BtVS or AtS. I can't see any of the characters ever having the same effect on me as Spike does (to be honest, I doubt another character ever will), but it is a great show so far. On to Season 1. :)

I think you'll really enjoy Season 1. It's one of the best first seasons of a series that I've seen. As for Dr. Baltar, his character really goes in some interesting directions. *g*

I enjoyed this series a lot, although I doubt I'll ever be as fannish about this (or anything) as I was about BtVS. But you never know.

Like you, I'm not sure if and when another show (or character) will come along that has engaged me in such an emotional sense as BtVS and AtS, but BSG absolutely blows me away in all other respects.

I was really loving it about halfway into the miniseries and totally hooked by the end. But as much as I liked it, S1 was even better. Each episode just rocks even more than the last. I am sooo ready for the second season to start!
