1 - List your top 10 celebrity crushes.
2 - Put all of them IN ORDER of your lust for them.(10 to 1, 1 being your number one fixation)
3 - Say which movie/show/thing it was that hooked you.
4 - Supply photos of said people
5 - Tag five people. (I'm not doing this part. If you want to play along, feel free.)
I'm not really into 'celebrity crushes' as such, so most of my choices here are influenced by the characters they've played on TV or in movies, rather than by their dazzling RL personalities. I do find them all attractive though... ;)
10. Robert Sheehan:

I'd seen Robert in other things, but it was his role as the annoying yet strangely compelling Nathan in Misfits that brought him to my attention. He's definitely a bit of a guilty pleasure of mine. He should be way too young for me to even contemplate looking at him in that way, but he's so pretty...and has the most beautiful eyes. He's also very talented. :)
9. Sebastian Piggott:

Not only can this boy act, but he can also sing and play the guitar - a combination I have to say I find very hard to resist. A past contestant on Canadian Idol, he came to my attention in the role of Kai on Being Erica. I loved him from his first appearance, but after he sang the wonderful Alien Like You on the show, I fell for him hook, line and sinker. He also reminds me a little of a very young James Marsters, which definitely adds to his appeal.
8. Ian Somerhalder:

I'd seen Ian as Boone on Lost, of course, but I can't say he really had much of an impact on me until this little show called The Vampire Diaries started to air. And boy did he have an impact on me. Damon is one of those characters that suddenly creeps up on you from nowhere and, like Spike before him, is not likely to be forgotten any time soon.
7. Ryan Kwanten:

I'd seen Ryan on Home and Away years and years ago, and then as a guest star on various TV shows, but it wasn't until he was cast as the adorkable airhead Jason Stackhouse in True Blood that I began to sit up anddrool over him take notice. He's yet another guilty pleasure of mine, only (if I'm really honest) I can't say I actually feel that much guilt, just pure pleasure. ;P
6. Robert Downey Junior:

I've been a fan of Robert's for years (I can't actually remember the first thing I saw him in), and I have to admit that his bad boy reputation hasn't put me off him in the slightest. I enjoy his acting, but I also just like looking at him (shallow I know). I've lost count of the amount of times I've watched Elton John's I Want Love video, just to see Robert walking around an empty house miming to the song. Lol! I also loved him in Ally McBeal.
5. Henry Ian Cusick:

Henry played Lost's Desmond Hume, who is one of my favourite characters of all time. I don't know a lot about Henry Ian Cusick as a person, but I don't need to. All I know is that he helped turn Desmond into one of the most intriguing and fascinating characters I've ever seen on TV (second only to Spike for me), and I love him for it. It also doesn't hurt that he's very easy on the eye. ;)
4. Jeffrey Dean Morgan:

It's Daddy Winchester, what's not to love? *g* I first noticed him in Supernatural, and I've enjoyed watching his career flourish ever since. He's had some good roles, some not so good roles, and some truly awful roles, but he's been immensely watchable in all of them.
3. Alexander Skarsgard:

I didn't have a clue who Alex was until I saw him in S1 of True Blood, and I can't say he had much of an impact on me then. It was only in S2 that he really began to shine as Eric for me, and I found myself falling for another TV vampire.
But it was only after Alex had his hair cut short that I began to notice him on a physical level, and I have to admit that I find him very, very attractive, and think his portrayal of Eric gets better and better with every season.
And just for the record, I love Stephen Moyer's portrayal of Bill too, and he would have been number eleven on my list. :)
2. James Marsters:

Have I surprised everyone with my number two choice? I know I've surprised myself. :) I thought long and hard about where to place James in my list, as he's still an extremely attractive man, and I'm still as big a fan of his work as I ever was. But in the end I decided to place him at number two (sorry James). Somehow, I don't think he'll mind too much. ;)
I don't think I need to tell anyone here what it was that drew my attention to James. :) Spike is (and always will be) my number one character of all time. Without James, Spike would never have become the complex character we know and love, and I'll always be eternally grateful to him for that. But there's also so much more to James than just Spike, and I've had so much fun being a part of his fandom for all these years. I'm not as involved as I once was, but my love and admiration for James remains the same.
And he looks damn fine for a man of 48! :D
1. Hugh Jackman:

I know I said at the beginning of this post that I don't really do celebrity crushes. I lied. Because I really do have a crush on Hugh Jackman, and have done for a long, long time. It's those eyes...and that smile...and that accent...and...did I mention those eyes? *g*
He's also very talented, seems like a genuinely nice person (I have no desire to find out if he really is or not) and appears to be very much in love with his wife of fifteen years. And he makes me swoon. :D

Date: 2011-01-14 11:02 am (UTC)And I have seen very bad movies, just to drool over Hugh Jackman (the yellow towel scene in Swordfish made up for the rest of the film!).

Date: 2011-01-14 12:06 pm (UTC)Yep, I've seen some awful movies just to see some of my favourite actors. JM's High Plain Invaders anyone? :D

Date: 2011-01-14 12:42 pm (UTC)Hugh is breathtakingly handsome but I've always thought he was also a good actor so that's my excuse for seeing many awful films of his(except The Prestige that is very good).
As for fictional characters crushes, of course Spike would be in my top 10! And Desmond from Lost, and Helo from BSG, and Daniel Graystone from Caprica!
When I was 9-10, I had a huge crush on Tom Selleck and Harrison Ford, though.

Date: 2011-01-14 01:15 pm (UTC)Hugh is a very talented actor. It's just a shame that some of his movies haven't been quite as hot as he is. And yes, The Prestige is a very good film indeed.
I definitely have crushes on fictional characters - Spike and Desmond would be at the top of that list, with Damon Salvatore and Eric Northman also in the mix somewhere. I still haven't seen all of Caprica, but Daniel Graystone had so much potential. I still can't quite believe that they cancelled it. :(
When I was 9-10, I had a huge crush on Tom Selleck and Harrison Ford, though.
I can definitely see the appeal!
