Red Nose Day
Mar. 11th, 2005 09:15 pmIf ever there was a worthwhile cause to donate to, then this one is it. Anyone who lives in the UK will know what I'm talking about. I have just watched one of the most moving pieces of film I have ever seen. The poem that accompanied it (as
spikesdeb has said) was so hauntingly sad that it had me practically sobbing.
[Bad username or unknown identity: For all that I complain about my own personal situation, seeing something like that makes me realise just how lucky I am.]
[Bad username or unknown identity: If my daughter had been born in Africa, she would be dead now. Makes you think.]

The little 3-year old girl who had been her mother's main carer? And also had HIV? My youngest is 3 and I the thought of her carrying such a heavy burden...
Also I love our comedians to itty bitty pieces and wish I could have little miniatures of them all! Just imagine a tiny little Stephen Fry spouting knowledge everywhere!
