Yet another good episode. This season is moving along nicely! So much better than the Maryann storyline that dragged on for so long last season.

Things I Liked:

* There's an awful lot of blood in this show, isn't there?!

* Yay, Sookie finally staked Lorena! She's been a good character, but I think it was time for her to go. So glad Sookie was the one to do it!

* Tara and Alcide. It's so good to have feisty Tara back!

* No, a vampire isn't dead until their body disintegrates, Tara. So I somehow think Franklin isn't quite as dead as you thought! Yay!

* Debbie Pelt and Cooter. Now Alcide's killed Cooter, Debbie's definitely going to want revenge.

* I can't say it enough - it's so good to have kick-ass Tara back!

* Bill drinking from Sookie. So this is how they're going to deal with a certain incident from the books (more on that below). Sookie's in real trouble now!

* Loving Tara this episode. Bill so deserved to have his sorry ass kicked out into the sunshine!

* Bill not burning after drinking Sookie's blood is an interesting twist.

* I think I could get behind Tara/Alcide as a ship.

* So poor Sookie's in a coma. And we're finally introduced to Claudine, who's a character from the books. No spoilers here, but we're finally getting closer to finding out who - or what - Sookie is.

* The darkness is getting closer - and Bill's back. Don't let him take your light, Sookie!

* Sam saving Tommy from the dog fighting. Is there more to Joe Lee's hold over his wife and son than meets the eye?

* Jason without his shirt on. /shallow moment He's so cute when he's in love - and he's always thought he was too dumb to be depressed. Hee!

* So biscuits are what we call scones in the UK? I always wondered about that...

* Still loving Eric, although there's not enough of him for my liking.

* Eric drinking from Hadley to get information from Sophie-Ann - who still refused to talk.

* Now Eric finally knows the truth about Sookie from Hadley. Was glad to see that Eric didn't kill her - he bit into his wrist and gave her his blood after she gave him the information he needed.

* Jason 'interrogating' Crystal's cousin. Hee! I don't think anyone's ever called Jason smart before! :D

* 'I'm not into that shit (V) anymore, I just need some Meth.' I love Jason. And Lafayette.

* Jason, Lafayette and Tara at Sookie's bedside.

* Jason allowing Bill to give Sookie his blood. And Sookie screaming as soon as she opens her eyes. Let's hope she's going to be a bit more wary of Bill for a while.

* Pam! Eric! Russell! Loved this whole scene.

* Eric's concern for Pam seems very genuine to me.

* So the King of Mississippi and the Queen of Louisiana are now married - and the Magister is about to get his comeuppance. Yay!

* Looks like the Magister's finally lost his head. Goodbye Magister!

* I thought the pacing was better this week.

Things I Didn't Like:

* Sam's storyline still isn't working. Apart from when Sam saved Tommy, the dog fighting story was boring. I just wanted it to finish so we could get back to the real story of the season! It's so disappointing. I love Sam and think he's being woefully misused this season, but hopefully we'll see less of the Mickens (although I don't mind Tommy) from now on.

* Sookie's dream/coma sequence didn't come across as well as it could have done. A bit too cheesy for my tastes. I've seen it likened to Andrew, Warren and Jonathan's 'We Are Gods' scene from BtVS, and I'm inclined to agree.

* No Jessica. And I don't like Hoyt's new love interest at all. Summer? Really? *rolls eyes*

As usual, the good points far outweigh the bad for me.

So glad they didn't go there (book spoilers for this episode only - no future plot points mentioned):

* I'm so glad they decided not to include the Bill/Sookie rape scene from the books. It would have been such a huge mistake if they had. I think they took it as far as they could without completely ruining the Bill/Sookie relationship for good.

* I hope they put a bit of space between Bill and Sookie for a while after the events of this episode. I think we'll definitely see Bill/Sookie together again as a couple at some point in the series, but not too soon, please. I've been loving their separate storylines this season, and don't want them to end just yet!

Looking forward to seeing where the show decides to take us from here! :)

ETA: Sorry about the coding screw up - it should be fixed now. Hope I didn't spoil anyone!
