Day 27 - Best pilot episode

This is an easy one: Lost had an amazing pilot episode that caught my imagination from the opening scene. I don't think I've ever seen another series that had such a strong beginning. Most tend to take a while before they really start to show their true potential, but with Lost it was instantaneous.

I am loving your Lost devotion. It certainly has been one of the definitive shows of the past ten years, and though I wasn't completely satisfied with the finale, it doesn't take away the sheer awesomeness it took to get there. And yes, it is certainly one of the best drama pilots I have ever seen.

Lost was such a great show! I don't think the finale was perfect by any means, but it left me feeling so emotionally satisfied when I first watched it that it just felt perfect to me.

I think that's likely to change over time, though, as there are questions I would definitely have loved to have known the answers to. But even though some threads were left dangling, I wouldn't have missed the show for the world! This is the show that gave us The Constant after all, which I consider to be the best episode of any TV show ever.

The pilot was an outstanding piece of television!
