There are scenes from certain episodes that I loathe with a fiery passion, but I can't say they are my least favourite episodes as there are still things about them that I like. So instead of going for the obvious choices, I've gone for the episode I never rewatch as I just find it too silly.

So my least favourite episode of BtVS is: I Robot, You Jane.

That episode is really bad. Granted, I'll watch it for certain scenes, and because it's the first time Jenny Calendar shows up, but it's terrible.

Yes, it really is an awful episode! It's a shame it's the first episode Jenny shows up, as I can't even bring myself to watch it for her (and I like Jenny).

Some fans think that the best Buffy seasons were the first and that things went down after season 4 (usually those fans are Bangel and grey-Spike haters!), but they seem to forget that the two first seasons have awful episodes indeed.

The writing did improve with the passing of time.

I much prefer the later seasons myself. S4-7 are the ones I enjoyed the most! S1 had some terrible episodes.

The writing definitely improved.
