I don't know quite what happened (maybe it was RL taking over?), but I actually only read two books in June and July...and one of those was a re-read. *is embarrassed*

*drumroll*

So here they are:

1. Drums of Autumn by Diana Gabaldon - 4th book in the Outlander series, and every bit as good as the other three.
2. Club Dead by Charlaine Harris - 3rd book in the Sookie Stackhouse series. Re-read to prepare me for the next book in the series. I read the first three books a while ago, but never got around to reading the rest - even though I enjoyed the first three and own them all. Hmm...I can't think why I'm so keen to read them now. *g*

And that's it.

I did read a lot of classic Spike/Buffy fanfiction, though. I went through a lot of my old links and saved as many of my favourite stories as I could find. So many of the old archives are disappearing and I'd hate to lose any of the amazing fic I've read over the years. We're lucky to have had so many wonderful storytellers in our fandom!

I am currently reading "Drums of Autumn". The characters get fuller and the story rolls on into the next generation. Wonderful stuff.

I just saved all of Ariane's fiction and I'm looking at other writers on Geocities. The loss is so sad. Many were written during the show and have a different view from current writers.

I've read quite a few books, but I forgot to make a list or keep up my Shelfari... I'm just hopeless!!!

I am seriously in love with the Outlander books! I decided to stop after book four, as I don't want to read them all too quickly. But I'll definitely be going back to them soon! :)

It's very sad. Some of the best Spuffy fiction was written while the show was still airing. It would be such a shame to lose any of it. I've saved as many of the old stories as I could find, so if there's anything in particular you want, let me know and I'll send it to you if I have it. :)

I couldn't believe it when I realised I'd only read two! That isn't like me at all. Although, in my defense, I have been reading an awful lot of fanfiction lately - and there are only so many hours in a day!

I'm useless at keeping my Shelfari updated!

I've read all the Sookie books (gobble them up as soon as a new one is published) but not Diana Gabaldon.

Unlike you and Karen I've been keeping up my Shelfari and will reveal all in a post at the end of the year. :D

I've been saving lots of fanfic lately too - and noticed that Sinister Attraction seems to have disappeared now as well. That was one of my favourite archives - I did lots of my initial fanfic reading there.

Thank you. Trying to see which ones are gone. :sigh:

[I will seek you out.]
