I hope everyone who's going to Coventry has a wonderful time this weekend, and look forward to reading all about it! :)

I have a busy weekend coming up, as my husband and his family are throwing a joint 70th birthday party for his Mum and Dad on Saturday. It should be...interesting...to say the least, as family occasions so often turn out to be. But I'm also hoping there will be a lot of fun to be had too! *g*

Thanks to everyone who commented on my last post (I'll respond to individual comments later), and also to those of you who took the poll. It's good to see that there are still quite a few of us left in the Byffyverse fandom, even if some of us are also enjoying our new and shiny fandoms. And it turns out that Spike is still the number one character for most of you. Yay! :D

I can't see any other character ever taking the number one spot from Spike for me. *hearts him*

Although...I do have to admit that I'm finding Eric from True Blood incredibly sexy intriguing this season. He didn't have much of an impact on me in S1, but his new look and more involved storylines are blowing Angel Bill Compton out of the water this year! I'm definitely going to be drooling over him looking forward to seeing more of him as the series progresses. *g*

Have you read the books on which True Blood is based? If you like Eric on TV, you might also enjoy the written version... *Evil laugh*

I read the first three books a while ago, but still haven't gotten around to reading the others yet. I've been thinking about getting back to them soon, though! I have a feeling I'm going to love Eric more and more as the series (both the books and TV) continues. :D

I can not wait to see True Blood Season 2. Sounds like Eric will be much more to my liking than Bill. (though I loved Season 1 - don't get me wrong)

I loved S1 too, but I'm absolutely loving Eric in S2! Bill is a bit too much 'tortured soul' and Angel-like for my liking (although I do love Angel).

I'm still only on the first few eps of S1 of True Blood, but don't like Bill at all on principle having read the books. :D Can't wait to see S2 Eric though.
