While I'm on the subject of fanfic, I can't forget two of the best writers out there.  They were the reason I became addicted to fanfic in the first place. *g*

"Perfect World" by  cousinjean was one of the first fics I read and remains one of my favourites to this day.  "The Butterfly Effect" is also an amazing fic.  I eagerly await an update on the sequel. ;)

"What She Deserves" and "Lovingkindness" by herself_nyc are also two of my favourite fics.  I love them!

Ah, you know how I feel about "What She Deserves" and "Lovingkindess". Hands down the best post-Grave Spike stories out there. If that had been an arc in S7 it would have blown viewers away, even with Jack and Spike in the relationship they were in. Of course there would have had to have been some eps revolving around the other characters, but that's only fair.
Alas, we got the crappy SITs and The First instead.

I do know how you feel. It was you who gave me the rec for them and I'll be forever grateful for that. You and Betsy have a lot to answer for! ;)

The relationship between Jack and Spike worked really well. It made me realise that I wasn't as averse to slash as I thought. A beautifully written fic. I read them both in one night. Once I started I couldn't put them down. So moving. So real. Just amazing! I can't praise them enough.

Have you read herself_nyc's latest fic? It's nearly finished and it's wonderful!
