Belated birthday wishes...and an update

I probably won't be around LJ much over the next few weeks or so. My daughter finishes school next week to begin preparation for her surgery (which takes place on February 14th), so my online time is going to be very limited. I'll try to post as often as I can, but it will probably be few and far between.

I'll let you all know as soon as I can how the surgery goes. We're within touching distance of it now. It's a scary feeling, but I have to admit that we're more than ready for it. It will (hopefully) be the beginning of a new and improved life for K...and that's very exciting! :)
