Is it just me, or does LJ seem exceptionally quiet today? Where is everyone? *wonders around LJ looking for any sign of life*

And can someone please tell my neighbours that Bonfire Night was *last* night. How many nights in a row do they need to be setting off fireworks? Give it a bloody rest already! *grumble*

It's bogwitch's posting day over on seasonal_spuffy today. I can't wait to read her new fic "The Heartstone" once it's all been posted. It looks great! :)

I'm currently surrounded on three sides by wet, miserable cattle, so it's hard to feel anything but overwhelmed by the rain; it's only four degrees colder outside right now than the warmest temperature I couls achieve inside last Monday, with is also sort of weird.Ah, Pineapple Express, how strange thou art.

Julia, and since most of the trees were just losing their leaves, the street maintenance people are pretty much overwhelmed by flooding storm sewers

Funnily my other fandom is in a 'busy' phase, weird, does go in stages.

I like fireworks, Welsh = Noson tan gwyllt, wildfire night, I love that.
Cat however, very unhappy, hiding under desk. He never hides under the desk.

Did you see Torchwood last night? Was unimpressed for the first time :(

It's very quiet in the Buffyverse fandom today. Even Supernatural, Doctor Who or Torchwood don't appear to be very active today either! Maybe I should join you in your other fandom? *g*

LJ still seems very quiet but I noticed my comments weren't being emailed to me, and some others on my f'list had the same complaint. I'd bet folks are wary of posting/commenting while the emailing thing doesn't work ... it would be so difficult to maintain conversation reliably!

I'm going to have to add seasonal_spuffy to my f'list ~ I've missed a lot of good fics!
