That was just so good! Definitely my favourite of the series so far. I have to admit that the storyline at the school didn't do much for me (even though it *was* lovely to see ASH...and he was so good in the role!). I was more interested in the storyline between The Doctor, Rose and Sarah Jane. I loved every second of it, from the moment Sarah Jane met the Doctor again (DT was wonderful in that scene!) right up until the very end. And yes, I have to admit there were tears. *sniff*

Viewers who have only seen Doctor Who since last year probably won't be quite as affected as by this episode as I was. But Sarah Jane is the first companion I remember seeing (I was four when she arrived), so it was nice to see the Doctor and Sarah Jane finally get to say a proper goodbye.

There were so many good things in this episode! The jealousy between Rose and Sarah Jane...Mickey wanting to stay with them...ASH as the evil headmaster (he does evil so well!)...and who could forget the adorable K-9? I was so glad they brought him back at the end!

I've still got lots more to say about this ep, but it will probably just turn into a sentimental ramble, so I'll leave it at that for now. *g*

This series is definitely shaping up to be every bit as good as the last one.
