New Doctor Who

What can I say? I loved this episode. Was it perfect? No. But it was fabulously entertaining and there was so much to like about it. So that's what I'm going to concentrate on. David Tennant is just wonderful as the Doctor. I have so many favourite scenes from this ep...Wet!Doctor and Cassandra!Doctor to name but two. The Cassandra scene at the end made me tear up, which was totally unexpected. How do they do that? Last year with the Dalek and now with Cassandra.
So much Doctor/Rose shippiness going on...even though the kiss turned out not to be Rose at all (which I already knew). I like the fact that it is all so understated. I like the idea of the Doctor/Rose, but I'm quite happy with the way it's being portrayed.
I miss Captain Jack, but at least we'll get to see him in Torchwood in the Autumn. I also miss CE (strange as that may sound after all the DT squee), but I think DT has slipped into the role so effortlessly that I probably won't miss him for long. Of course TCI has made the transition that much easier.
Episode two looks like it's going to be great! This is the episode with DT's girlfriend in, I believe. He met her while making this episode and she seems like a lovely girl from the interviews I've seen. Aww! :)
I haven't seen the Confidential yet. I've recorded it on Sky+ and am going to watch it later. Really looking forward to next week.
I saw DT being interviewed by John Barrowman on "This Morning" on Wednesday. They are such fanboys, it really was a sight to behold! JB could hardly contain his excitement. :D
