Dana Reeve

Dana Reeve, widow of the late Christopher Reeve, has died of lung cancer at the age of 44. I feel so sad for their young son, Will, who is now left without either of his parents.

Christopher Reeve was a man whose life (and death) touched me on a very personal level. Dana stood by him through thick and thin, and I admired the courage she showed throughout her years at Christopher's side. It's not easy having to watch someone you love go through such pain and heartache. After Christopher's death, she was then faced with her own struggle for life, which she has now tragically lost.

My thoughts and prayers go out to her family and friends, but especially to little Will, who has already lost so much more than any child should ever have to.

I hope that Christopher and Dana are now together again, walking side by side, with all the pain and heartache behind them. May they rest in peace.
