DVD watching

I'm going to be watching first the mini-series and then Season 1 of BSG over the next week or so. I treated myself to the DVDs. BSG will be completely new to me, as I've never seen it... not even the old series.

When I've finished watching BSG, I'm going to start watching Farscape from the very beginning. This is another show I've never seen. I've caught bits of it here and there, but I've never seen a whole episode.

I've heard so many good things about both of these shows (especially Farscape). I can't wait to see what all the fuss has been about. :D

Now all I need to do is find the time to watch them. ;)

The thought of watching Farscape and BSG has made me realise just how much I still miss Spike. Will it ever get any easier? *sigh*

I don't know about the missing Spike part, but I think you will find characters to love in both series. They are wonderful shows. I'm watching Farscape right now, and am on Season 3.

Just remember that Farscape starts out a bit slow - but midway through the first season, it starts to hit its stride, and never looks back.

I've heard good things about Farscape. Did you buy the dvds? and BSG, forgive my dumbness but what does that stand for?

I did. I splashed out and bought the Complete Boxset (only available in the UK, I think). I've heard so many good things about it, I just know I'm going to love it. :)

BSG stands for Battlestar Galactica. There has been a mini-series and Season 1 so far. The second season is due to start airing in July in the U.S, and October (I think) in the UK.

I've heard so many good things about Farscape. Lots of people on my flist rave about it, so I'm looking forward to seeing it. I don't want to rush it, though. It makes me sad to think I'll never see a new episode of BtVS, so I like to make the most of any new shows I watch.

I'm starting with BSG because I know there's more of that to come. :)

I will! I missed BSG when it aired over here, and I was already watching too many shows (both BtVS and AtS were still airing) when Farscape started. Plus all the UK shows I was watching at the time. It will be nice to watch something new. :)
