JM Cancels The Hub 6 Convention

I don't know if anyone on my flist was planning on attending it, but JM has cancelled his appearance at 'The Hub 6' convention in the UK.

This is the second appearance he's had to cancel recently. The first was 'The Bard's Birthday Bash', which was cancelled a week or so ago.

Such a disappointment for those who were planning to go. :(

That was his only UK appearance so far this year, wasn't it?

I do hope the reason for the cancellation is that he has acting work.

It is a shame for people looking forward to seeing him there. Hopefully the cancellations mean some acting work in the offing for him.

I was hoping so, but it looks as though he's attending a US convention instead. Not really fair on his UK fans, imo. I'm just glad that I hadn't made any plans to attend.

I feel sorry for those who were planning to attend. I was hoping it meant more acting work, but it looks as though he's attending a con in the US instead.

I hadn't even looked at the dates - thought The Hub was earlier in May than that other US Con. But The Hub never appeared on his FB page or JM Live, so perhaps they were just hedging their bets.

The other US con was only announced today. I still don't think it's fair, though, to let people down like that. His management have been aware for a long time that he was listed as a guest at The Hub (and that people had bought tickets on the strength of that), but have only just announced the cancellation. I can only imagine how disappointed those who have bought tickets must be feeling - especially as this is the second time James has pulled out of a Hub convention.

Not that it makes any difference to me - I highly doubt that I'll be attending another JM event any time soon. :)
