Probably the weakest episode of the season so far for me, but still enjoyable.



In no particular order:

1. The opening scene was beautifully shot. Just lovely! Shirtless Eric didn't hurt either *g*
2. The more people keep saying they don't like Sookie, the more I like her. I'm stubborn like that.
3. Jason, Sam and Andy are made of win!
4. "Smite me, motherf***er!" :D
5. Sam Butt! Butt of Sam! o_O
6. Why was the episode so short this week?
7. I actually quite liked Bill this week. He reminded me more of S1 Bill. And didn't keep shouting "Suuuukkkyyyy" every five minutes.
8. Lafayette is made of win! Oh, how I love me some Lafayette.
9. Nooo, Jessica! Don't do it! Hoyt will neve forgive you. (and I actually quite like Maxine - in a 'love to hate' kind of way)
10. I've enjoyed the Maryanne storyline, but will be glad to see the back of it now.
11. Tara! It's good to have you back.
12. What's up with Sookie? That was definitely different.
13. Jason has been awesome this season! Definite character progression there.
14. Still not liking the blood tears...although they do look rather pretty on Eric. *is shallow*
15. So we're about to meet the Queen...

The whole "smite me" scene had me rolling on the floor.

I also like Sookie but I think my view is skewed from the books. If I just watched the show, I'm not sure I would like her so much. Since the books are written in first person we get to see Sookie's thought process and we also see that she is genuine (IMHO)

Lafayette was amazing (as always) from comforting Tara's Mom to smacking that coed in the forehead, Andy was pretty awesome although I'll be glad if he really does give up the bottle but Jason was uber-amazing. Charging in with his chainsaw and nail gun was cool enough but then he puts on the gas mask and really used his noggin (for once).

Maxine going all bug-shagging crazy was hilarious but the looks on Bill's and Jason's faces when she propositioned Jason was priceless.

Sam needs to wear that apron more often...

I like Sookie and Bill and I don't care who knows it. And Bill visiting the Queen seemed different, maybe that's the real Bill.

Lafayette steals almost every scene he's in. I'm so glad they kept him in the show!

I've always had a soft spot for Jason (possibly because I remember RK from 'Home and Away' years ago), but his character has really progressed this season. I loved the whole 'Smite me' scene. Brilliant! :D

Right there with you. I have to say I preferred S1 Bill, though, but I still like him (other than when he's shouting 'Sookie' or 'Sookie is mine' - that has really started to grate on me this season). And you're right, he did seem different. Hmm...

I obviously enjoyed this episode more than I thought I had. :D

I know what you mean. I definitely like book Sookie better than the TV version, but I'm growing to like her more and more as the series progresses. It just annoys me how much some people seem to hate her - which as I said in my post, only makes me like her more. It reminds me of how some people felt about Buffy...

I think that Sam has found the perfect outfit. ;- )

I must confess that I don't like Sookie much but I like her when she is with Tara.

Lafayette rocked as usual. I have a soft spot for Andy now, but I love Terry too. His feelings for his lady were stronger than Maryanne's power.

I can understand why people find Sookie annoying, but I'm liking her more and more as the season progresses.

I *love* Lafayette! I'm so glad they decided to keep him around this season.

To be honest, I like most of the supporting cast. And I think Jessica, in particular, has been a wonderful addition to the cast.
