hahahahaha! Yes! Eric is fabulous -- and he does remind me at times of Spike, but I do see each character as unique.

For me, the commonality is that they're both a lot like LeStat: they really enjoy being EVOL.

It's weird because I did't find Eric attractrive until the last three episodes. Now I think that he is gorgeous! And so tall...



But Spike is Spike and can NEVER be replaced.

I keep watching my flist spontaneously erupt with Eric-love, which is very funny since I don't watch True Blood, and can't for the life of me see what all the fuss is about from looking at the pictures. :)

No, still not really getting it. :)

I've never really understood the fascination with Ianto (although I really did come to love him by the end) and don't find him attractive at all. GDL, however, is very attractive in RL. :D

Oh, I'm more than enjoying. I adore my shiny new show! I loved S1, but S2 is even better. :)

(But speaking personally, then one of my biggest kinks - not sexual kink, just something that's bound to make me love a character - is competence. Ianto's looks are pretty much a moot point since what I'm attracted to is his smarts, efficiency, dry humour etc.)

Oh, I know what you mean. I like my characters to be complex, with many layers to be peeled away over the course of the show. Spike was like that, and now I'm finding Eric to be like that, too. His looks are a bonus. ;)

And I did come to appreciate Ianto by the end of S3 (I think GDL grew as an actor and did a great job with the character) - and really came to believe in Jack/Ianto as a couple, which I never did before. I loved Torchwood in S1 and S2, but it was CoE that turned me into a real fan of the show. :)

Anyway, enjoy your vampires! :)

I will! Although it isn't necessarily their vampirism I find so appealing, but the complexity of their characters. :)
