A little update

It's been a while since I posted anything on LJ.  Life has been pretty quiet since my cousin's passing.  If I'm honest, I've been spending a little less time on LJ or my regular posting board and more time losing myself in fanfic.  Fanfic has been my escape from the reality that is my life.  Thank goodness for it.  I hope all of you wonderful authors out there are going to be around for a long time to come.

If anyone is in search of any good Spuffy fics, go check out makd's spuffy recs.  There are some great stories in there.  :)  No eurydice72 though, which is a shame.  I can't recommend her stories highly enough.

As for eurydice72: never read any of her work...If I were to read one, which one would you recommend I start with? (I just started to read my first enigmaticblues, so I am deep into Cast Away right now, and any other fic must be _short_.)

There's some great fic on your list that I hadn't read. Thanks for all the hard work you've been doing, makd. I've loved reading the results from the 'ship survey.

As for eurydice72: never read any of her work...If I were to read one, which one would you recommend I start with?

I must warn you...most of her fics are fairly long. Which one would I recommend? How about all of them? *g* I've loved them all. The only one I haven't read is "By Rook or by Crook", but that's only because I don't like all human fics.

If I had to recommend one, it would actually be the William/Buffy one, "Legions of True Hearts". I can't praise that one enough.

If you didn't know it already, you're one of my fav spuffy authors, too. :) Not putting you under any pressure (you know I'll wait for as long as it takes), but Third Chances is the best post NFA fic I've read.

I'm still reading and loving your NaNoWriMo (I'm sure I've got that wrong ;)) fic, Fer. I don't think I commented on your last chapter, but now that I'm getting back into the swing of things, I'll be back to commenting as normal.

Honestly, I can't recoommend Eurydice's work highly enough. Legions is wonderful. If all you want is PWP, then this is not for you. But if you want a moving, well written story, with some NC-17 woven into the plot, then you'll definitely love this one. I fell in love with William in this fic. He almost made me forget about Spike...but only almost. ;) Eurydice has just started to post the sequel. :)

I meant to thank you for recommending enigmaticblues work. That's the second rec I've had for her work today. I've checked her site out and her work looks like exactly the sort of fic I'd love. :)
