My top ten favourite female characters (TV shows):

As before this is by no means a definitive list, and is likely to change at any time. If you're wondering why Sookie Stackhouse isn't on the list, it isn't that I don't like her (I do), it's just that she isn't quite as interesting (to me) as the other women on my list.

I find Sookie far more compelling in the books actually, no offense to Anna who does a great job acting. The books are from her POV and you can see what she's thinking and it adds such a lot of layers.

I agree, Sookie is much more interesting in the books. I like her well enough on the show (and Anna is great in the role), but we don't get to see enough of her POV like we do in the books.
