My top ten favourite female characters (TV shows):
1. Buffy Summers (BtVS)
2. Aeryn Sun (Farscape)
3. Dana Scully (The X-Files)
4. Veronica Mars (Veronica Mars)
5. Erica Strange (Being Erica)
6. Jessica Hamby (True Blood)
7. River Song (Doctor Who)
8. Kima Greggs (The Wire)
9. Alicia Florick (The Good Wife)
10. Elena Gilbert (The Vampire Diaries)
As before this is by no means a definitive list, and is likely to change at any time. If you're wondering why Sookie Stackhouse isn't on the list, it isn't that I don't like her (I do), it's just that she isn't quite as interesting (to me) as the other women on my list.
