I'm fed up of writing about the stresses of my life, so I'm going to concentrate on fanfic instead.

I ADORE fanfic! I have to admit that I'm a latecomer to it, but now that I've found it, I can't get enough of it. When I'm suffering from insomnia, it's a lifesaver. I can read it all night.

My main preference is Spike/Buffy, but I do read other pairings to. Lately, thanks to angelspike69 and cara_leigh9 , I have started reading some slash. Nothing too heavy, as of yet, but I have enjoyed what I've read so far. My OTP will always be Spuffy, though. Spike is a BIG obsession of mine. I adore the character and the actor who plays him.

I'm currently working my way through wisteria_ and jidabug 's "And Then", Post NFA Ficathon. I haven't read them all yet, but I have particularly enjoyed fairy_tale_echo's "I Sing The Body Electric", which is a wonderful little fic.

That's it for now, but I will post more links later. I'm new to all this and am still not quite sure what I'm doing. *g*

I think I'm finally getting the hang of this LJ thing now. The only trouble is it's keeping me away from ACN too much! I'm such an obsessive person. *g*

I've friended quite a few of my favourite authors, but only a couple have friended me back so far. Not that I'm complaining...I like my new friends! ;)

We'll never agree on the 'ships that we like, but that hasn't stopped us becoming firm friends. As if a little thing like you liking the wrong 'ship could ever come between us! ;)

At least we both agree on one thing...Angel and Spike in chains is a GOOD thing. *g*

Fanfiction is SO addictive. Betsy is such a bad influence on us! *g*

If you ever come round to my way of thinking, I've tons of recs for you, too.;)

Dude, I am SO addicted to fanfic. In fact, in a very stalkerish/geeky move, I friended many of my favorite B/A writers. And, imagine my utter shock and delight when some friended me back. YES!!

But back to the topic.... you and I don't agree on 'ships (which you are so clearly wrong on, anyway *g*) but we do agree on one thing - our addiction to fanfic. I was into slash, then got out of it, but now, thanks to our resident CN slash lovers, I'm slowly getting back into it. I don't know any of the authors yet but I'm sure I'll ~~stalk~~ friend them eventually. *g*

I try not to read it too much when Josh and I are together but since we know I have zero willpower, I usually end up reading while he's reading the paper or we're watching tv. It's like, once I start, I can't stop.

Cal, when you discover the right and TRUE 'ship, let me know because I've got tons of recs. ;)

Well you both are clearly wrong - it's Angel/Spike all the way baby and boy have I read them in many directions (lol).

I've friended many of my favorite slash authors. Makes it much easier to get the stories.

Caraleigh has gotten me into Spander, which I'm loving very much. I've gotten myself into Xangel (??) Angel/Xander. But it's always Spangel first and foremost to me.

I wonder why that doesn't surprise me! *g* That's what I like about ACN. We're all so different and enjoy VERY different 'ships, yet we all get on so well. I love it!

We're all willing to try new things too, which is a good thing. ;)

I'm quite getting into Spangel too, thanks to you, Betsy. Next to Spuffy, that's my favourite pairing at the moment. I still haven't read anything too daring in slash, though. Although I love NC17 Spuffy.*g*

Just you wait Cal . . . I'll get you into the deeper, darker side of slash . . . I'm just biding my time.
