Wow! Billy Joel was just...wow! Boy can that man sing. He was on stage for two and a half hours and he was absolutely fantastic! I'm on such a high at the moment. :D

Here's something that might interest my UK friends. Peter Kay was sitting two rows in front of me! He seemed to have a wonderful time. He was the first on his feet and told everyone around him to get up! *g*

I've been singing and dancing all night (yes, I am one of those people who sing along to all the songs! :D), my feet are killing me, but I feel sooo incredibly happy! It's been a good day and I can't stop smiling. :)

I think I'll sleep well tonight.

I'll answer comments to my last couple of posts (including all of the wonderful comments to my BtVS post) in the morning.

Hi Cal, just having a quick browse through the flist, read this and had a sudden OMG I forgot to go to the Billy Joel concert. Took a second, then remembered I'm not going until tomorrow. *g*

So glad you had a good time, it sounds as though he was amazing. I'm getting really excited now (and will be another of those people who sing all the songs). I love Peter Kay too - glad to know he's another Billy fan.

I discovered a live recording on Allofmp3.com obviously of the recent concerts in the US, but haven't had a chance to d/l yet. I'm sure I'll be doing that on Sunday though, and if it's any good will whizz it your way too as I expect it will be a good reminder of the event.

He was so wonderful, Carolyn. Even better than I thought he would be! And two and a half hours! He was on stage for the whole of that time, so it was well worth every penny of the ticket price. Make sure you drink plenty of water when you go. It was so hot in there! So easy to get dehydrated if you're not careful. :)

I'd love a copy of the live recording if you get the chance to download it, Carolyn. Such a good night to remember! *hugs*
